Eric Ellingsen oversees the growth of CB&T across the state, including direct oversight of its commercial banking division.
Ellingsen began his career at CB&T in a temporary role as a junior accountant, which quickly led to a permanent position within the company. From there, he was promoted to more senior roles handling risk management, regulatory compliance, international banking and asset/liability management. In 2012, he was promoted to CFO and then in 2016, rose to the position of president and COO. After more than two-decades of commitment, Ellingsen was promoted to president and CEO. Ellingsen now manages the credit and lending process, oversees the Commercial Banking division and holds a seat on the Zions Bancorporation executive committee.
Ellingsen earned his MBA from Anderson School of Management at UCLA, and a bachelor’s degree in finance from James Madison University. He actively supports many nonprofit and professional groups and recently served as chairman of the board for the Western Bankers Association.
