Please note that Groupings have been replaced by Templates.  Payees appear in alphabetical order and previously-used groups of payees will need to be re-created. 

DESKTOP TEMPLATE GUIDE

STEP 1

In Online Banking, select Payments.
(Scroll down further for Mobile Banking App Template instructions.)

STEP 2

To select a Payee for the template, enter a dollar amount for the Payee.
The amount must be greater than $0.00. (You will be able to edit the amount prior to making payments).
Repeat for each Payee you wish to select for the template.

STEP 3

Select Save as New to create the new Template.

STEP 4

Enter the Template Name and select Save.

STEP 5

Created Templates can be found under Recipient Template.

MOBILE TEMPLATE GUIDE

STEP 1

In Mobile Banking, select Payments.

STEP 2

Select Pay Bills.

STEP 3

Select each payee you wish to group
together in the Template.

STEP 4

Enter the dollar amount for each Payee. The amount must be greater than $0.00. (You will be able to edit the amount prior to making payments). Repeat this process for each Payee. 

STEP 5

Select the Template Actions drop-down menu.

STEP 6

Select Save as New.

STEP 7

Enter Template Name and Save.

STEP 8

Created Templates can be found under
Recipient Template.

Q: What has changed?

A: Bill Pay provides features to make paying bills fast and convenient, such as a Quick Payment feature, and the ability to make multiple payments at one time. If you used “Groupings” in the previous application, these Groupings did not transfer over to the new application. Groupings have been replaced by “Templates”. Payees now can be found in alphabetical order in Company or Person categories.

Q: What can Templates do?

A: Templates allow you to group together recurring bills (recipients) to pay them all at once as a Quick Payment.

Q: What if my Payees are out of order?

A: Payees are now listed in alphabetical order within the Company and Person categories. To change the alphabetical order of your Payees, navigate to Payments > Payees and select a Payee to edit. Create a nickname or add an initial alphabet character (A, B, C, etc.) to account names to list Payees in your preferred order.

Q: Are Bill Pay Templates set up differently for Online Banking and for the Mobile Banking app?

A: Screens 1-3 provide Template instructions for Online Banking (using a web browser); Screens 4-7 give Template instructions for the Mobile Banking app.
